How To: Double Crochet

I am not so great at crocheting (as in I only have a vague understanding of crochet technique), but I needed/wanted to do a double crochet border on my current endeavor.

My reference was from Dummies.com, and it was super helpful!

Here is my understanding (in phrasing that makes sense to me):

. Have one loop on hook

. YO

. Put hook through [every other stitch]

. YO

. Pull through stitch

. YO

. Pull through first 2 loops on hook

. YO

. Pull through last 2 loops on hook
